The Joint Commission is pleased to announce that the Direct Data Submission Platform (DDSP) eCQM module is now available. Healthcare organizations can now upload their electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) data for the calendar year (CY) 2024 reporting period.
Key dates:
- Aug. 5, 2024: Start date for uploading, reviewing, purging and re-uploading CY2024 eCQM data.
- Jan. 1, 2025: Users can begin submitting CY2024 eCQM data for all four quarters.
- March 17, 2025: Deadline to submit CY2024 eCQMs.
Healthcare organizations are encouraged to submit the required ORYX performance measurement data well in advance of the deadline in order to have time to resolve any unexpected issues.
Organizations required or electing to submit eCQMs to The Joint Commission should review the 2024 ORYX requirements for the list of available performance measures and additional information regarding eCQMs.
Existing users can access the DDSP via the Joint Commission website “Login” button at the top of the Joint Commission website: https://www.jointcommission.org/
The DDSP is a secure, web-based platform that helps accredited health care organizations meet their ORYX performance measurement requirements with the goal of enhancing the quality of care for their patients. The platform provides real-time feedback on data conformance and completeness and enables the evaluation of eCQM results. HCOs can review, purge, and re-upload their data as many times as needed prior to the submission deadline.
More information about using the DDSP is available via the “Need Help?” link within the platform. For non-DDSP questions, contact hcooryx@jointcommission.org and include your organization’s ID number in the subject line.
Refreshed Accelerate PI™ Dashboard Reports are available for primary and comprehensive stroke centers to provide updated performance measurement data on the quality measures selected for Advanced Primary Stroke Center (PSC) and Comprehensive Stroke Center (CSC) Certification Programs. The refreshed reports contain data through the first quarter of 2024.
The dashboards provide performance measurement data on all the measures that PSCs and CSCs report using the Certification Measure Information Process (CMIP). The reports are intended to be a springboard for conversations on performance measures and quality improvement during the certification process, as well as a guide to support an organization’s quality journey.
Reports are located under the “Resources and Tools” menu below the DASH heading in Joint Commission Connect®. Users must select “Certification” on the home screen prior to accessing the menu.
