Because regulations and guidelines do change, it is a good idea to check for updates from your state, county, or city on a regular basis and always before registering for a specific course to make sure it will be acceptable for your license/certification renewal.

Joint Accreditation | ACCME, ANCC, ACPE
The Joint Commission is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME - AMA PRA Category 1 Credits), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the health care team.
ACHE | American College of Healthcare Executives
Joint Commission is authorized to award pre-approved ACHE Qualified Education Hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation.
ABQAURP | American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians
The Joint Commission is authorized to award pre-approved ABQAURP Qualified Education credit for select programs that meet the Health Care Quality & Management (HCQM) exam eligibility requirements, or recertification requirements for ABQAURP Diplomates. Participants wishing to have JCR continuing education hours in select programs applied toward ABQAURP recertification credit should indicate their attendance when submitting application to ABQAURP.

ASCLS P.A.C.E
The Joint Commission is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E.® program. Criteria for Successful Completion
- Full attendance at every session is a prerequisite for receiving full continuing education credits.
- Completion of program evaluation form.
- NOTE: for Pharmacists, you will be required to provide your NAPB # and DOB (MM/DD).
